Abstract
Cervikalni bolni sindromi predstavljaju bolest suvremenog društva, a javljaju se kao posljedica sedentarnog načina života. Mogu nastati i pod utjecajem brojnih čimbenika kao što su nepravilna postura, traume, infekcije, neurološki problemi i sl. Glavna obilježja ovih sindroma su bolovi u vratu, gornjim ekstremitetima i zatiljku, napetost mišića, lokalni osjećaj topline, glavobolje i vrtoglavice. Postojne brojni oblici liječenja i fizioterapijskih intervencija koji se provode u terapiji cervikalnih bolnih sindroma, a mogu se primjenjivati i alternativne metode liječenja kako bi se postiglo smanjenje boli, poboljšanje psihološkog statusa bolesnika i kvalitete života. Cilj ovog rada je utvrditi povezanost zanimanja oboljelih i sjedilačkog načina života sa nastankom bolesti te utvrditi utjecaj bolesti na emocionalno i psihološko stanje bolesnika. Cilj je isto tako utvrditi imaju li alternativne metode liječenja, poput akupunkture i joge, utjecaj na smanjenje simptoma bolesti.
Abstract (english)
Cervical pain syndromes represent a disease of modern society which occurs as a consequence of a sedentary lifestyle. It can also be caused by many other factors such as, improper posture, trauma, infections, neurological problems, etc. The main symptoms include neck pain, pain in upper extremities and nape, muscle tension, local feeling of warmth, headaches and dizziness. There are numerous types of therapy and physiotherapy interventions, applied in the treatment of cervical pain syndromes, but some alternative methods of treatment can also be applied in order to achieve pain reduction or to improve the psychological status of patients and their quality of live. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the patient's occupation and sedentary lifestyle and the onset of disease and the impact of disease on the emotional and psychological state of patients. The aim is also to determine whether alternative treatments, such as acupuncture and yoga, have an impact on reducing the symtpoms of disease.
