Abstract
Mala i srednja poduzeća predstavljaju temelj tradicionalnog poduzetništva. Ona naime održavaju imovinu, generiraju prihode te otvaraju nova radna mjesta. Danas, brojna poduzeća suočena su sa sve većom konkurencijom i izazovima tržišta, što ih navodi na razvojne i istraživačke napore. Cilj rada je prikazati tradicionalno poduzetništvo U Republici Hrvatskoj s posebnim osvrtom na financiranje i relevantne europske dokumente i politike. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju kako je u posljednjih nekoliko godina u Republici Hrvatskoj došlo do porasta malih i srednjih poduzeća, no poduzetnička klima je i dalje nepovoljna. Naime, često se javljaju problemi oko financiranja što ujedno predstavlja i veliko ograničenje s kojim se mala i srednja poduzeća susreću u svom poslovanju.
Abstract (english)
Small and medium enterprises are the foundation of traditional entrepreneurship. Namely, they maintain assets, generate income and crate new jobs. Today, many companies face increasing competition and market challenges, leading them to develompent and research efforts. The aim of this pape is to present traditional entrepreneurship in the Republic of Croatia with special emphasis on financing and relevant European documents and policies. The results of the research show that in the last few years there has been an increase in small and medium sized enterprises in the Republic of Croatia, but the enterpreneurial climate is still unfavorable. Namely, there are often problem with financing, which is also a big limitation that SMEs face in their business.
