Abstract
Na stražnjoj strani natkoljenice nalaze se tri velika mišića (hamstringsi), m. semitendinosus, m. semimembranosus i m. biceps femoris i oni izvode pokrete ekstenzije u zglobu kuka i fleksije u koljenom zglobu. Ozljede hamstringsa spadaju u najčešće ozljede u sportu, a dijele se na dvije vrste : istezajući tip i sprinterski tip ozljeda. Sportovi u kojima prevladavaju sprinterske aktivnosti i udarci nogom su sportovi u kojima najčešće dolazi do ozljeda hamstringsa. Povratak u sport nakon ozljede hamstringsa ovisi o ozbiljnosti ozljede. Prema vrsti ozljede hamstringsa u sportu postoji akutno istegnuće hamstringsa, rupture te kronična proksimalna tendinopatija. Sprinterski tip ozljede akutnog je tipa i sportaši se puno brže oporavljaju nego kod istezajućeg tipa ozljeda. Zabilježene stope ozljeda razlikuju se zbog drukčijih definicija ozljede i raznovrsne sportske populacije. Najčešće stope su između 8% do 25%, ovisno o sportu te svaka ozljeda rezultira između 2-6 tjedana odsustva od sportskih aktivnosti. Čimbenike rizika možemo raspodijeliti u dvije skupine, a to su promjenjivi čimbenici i nepromjenjivi čimbenici. Prevencija ozljeda hamstringsa podrazumijeva prepoznavanje i razumijevanje čimbenika rizika koji dovode do tih ozljeda. Takav pristup trebao bi omogućiti izradu najprikladnije strategije za smanjenje rizika. Sportaši i sportski klubovi ulažu mnogo vremena i novaca u strategije prevencije. Vježbe istezanja, vježbe snage i pliometrijski treninzi se provode kao jedna cjelina u prevenciji ozljeda.
Abstract (english)
On the back side of the thigh there are three large muscles (hamstrings), m. Semitendinosus, m. Semimembranosus and m. Biceps femoris and they perform movements of the extension in the hip joint and flexion in the knee joint. Hamstrings injuries are one of the most common injuries in sports, and are divided into two types: stretching type and sprinting type injury. Sports where sprinting and kicking are prevalent are sports where hamstrings are the most common injury. Returning to sports after a hamstrings injury depends on the severity of the injury. According to the type of hamstrings injury in sports, the are acute hamstrings strain, ruptures and chronic proximal tendinopathy. Sprinting type injury is acute and athletes recover much faster then a stretching type injury. Reported injury rates differ due to different definitions of injury and diverse sports population. The most common rates are between 8% to 25%, depending on the sport and each injury results in 2-6 weeks of absenece from sports activities. We can devide the risk factors into two groups, which are variable factors and nonvariable factors. Hamstrings injury prevention involves identifying and understanding the risk factors that lead to these injuries. Such an approach should allow the development of the most appropriate risk prevention strategies. Stretching exercises, strength exercises and plyometric training are all carried out as one unit in injury prevention.
