Abstract
Proteklih dvadesetak godina, trgovina je jedna od najrazvijenijih, najkonkurentnijih i najpropulzivnijih grana gospodarstva. No, trgovina je ujedno i zrcalna slika svih makroekonomskih kretanja. Kao takva, prva je u doticaju s potrošačima i osjeti sve promjene u navikama potrošnje. Spoznaja da uspjeh trgovinskog poduzeća leži u nabavi postoji već dugo, a danas još više dobiva na značenju. Uspješnost u nabavi rezultira iz sposobnosti da se nabave proizvodi uz pravu cijenu, od pravih dobavljača, prema utvrđenim specifikacijama, u pravim količinama, u pravo vrijeme, a sve to za odabrane ciljne kupce. To znači da je zadaća nabave mnogo više od postizanja dobrih nabavnih cijena i uvjeta (tzv. kondicija), iako ono, dakako, igra veliku ulogu. Upravljanje odnosima s dobavljačima predstavlja važan organizacijski proces. Za uspješnost poslovanja nisu dovoljni samo kvalitetni odnosi s kupcima nego i s dobavljačima. Poduzeća svakako moraju identificirati u kolikoj mjeri pojedini dobavljač doprinosi stvaranju vrijednosti kroz proces nabave.
Abstract (english)
Over the past twenty years, trade has been one of the most developed, most competive and most propulsive industries. But the trade is also the mirror image of macroeconomic developments. As such, it is the first in contact with consumers and can feel all the changes in spending habits. The realization that the success of the trading company lies in supply has existed for a long time, and today there is even more emphasis on this. The success of supply results from the ability to purchase products at the right price, from right supplier, in accordance to the established specifications, in right quantities, at right time, and all that for the selected target costumers. This means that the task of purchasing includes much more than achieving favorable purchasing prices and conditions, although they still play an important role. Supplier relationship management is an important organizational proces. For successful business perfomance, it is not enough to have high-quality relationship with costumers but one is needed with suppliers as well. Companies certainly must identify the extent to which a particular supplier contributes to creating value through the procurement process.
