Growth is a process which is specially complicated, it contains changes in body growth, also structure variation and some organ functions. Evolution is more compound than growth, but also has social adjustment and child’s mental development. A few things have an effect on growth, like gender, heritage, economical conditions, race and diet. There are basic ingridients for a healthy and nutricional diet, equal for each men. Nutrients are divided in two sections, macronutrients and micronutrients. In order for a person to be able to successfully perform daily activities and be healthy, proper nutrition is extremely important, especially for preschool children. There are five main food groups in the children's food pyramid: cereals, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, meat and fish. Not any shape of vegetarian diet is recommended for a children because it doesn’t have all of the proper ingridients like in children’s food pyramid. In preschool age, kids get around and explore a lot, so it is extreamly important for them to consume enough proteins and carbohydrates. It is advised five meals daily - breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks. Children need at least between 30 to 60 minutes of purposeful play, and even a few hours of freely play. Eating disorders with children are obesity and malnutrition, also fast food can significantly affect a child’s health. Key words:
