The final paper on the topic of Socially responsible business in the Republic of Croatia deals with the analysis of primary and secondary collected data on the mentioned topic. Socially responsible business first appeared in 1914 and is a management concept by which companies integrate social and environmental concerns into their business operations and interactions with their stakeholders. The subject of the paper is a presentation of the theoretical assumptions of socially responsible business, and its practical application in the Republic of Croatia. The paper focuses on the positive aspects of socially responsible business in terms of the economic functionality of the global and regional market, which includes sustainable development, circular economy and economy of scale. From the economic aspect, it can be concluded that globalization and internationalization at the world level bring improvement and growth of economies, which resulted in a faster and better understanding of socially responsible business, which is mostly applied due to foreign competition, which can also be concluded from examples from practice in the Republic of Croatia, where are the best-rated foreign companies according to the criteria of socially responsible business. Therefore, the paper presents the socially responsible business of IKEA, Valamar Riviere, DM-drogerie markt, Heineken and Nikola Tesla's Ericsson. The primary research was conducted in the territory of the Republic of Croatia, in which 80 respondents participated, who answered questions related to knowledge of the concept of socially responsible business and issues related to socially responsible business in the Republic of Croatia.
