Abstract
Sport je značajna i vrlo rasprostranjena ljudska aktivnost koja omogućuje razvoj motoričkih sposobnosti, unapređenje tjelesnog i mentalnog zdravlja. Ravnoteža je rezultat sposobnosti kontrole posturalnog gibanja te prilagodbe na zahtjeve okoliša.Vestibularni aparat, unutarnji i vanjski receptori i mali mozak ključni su za održavanje tjelesne ravnoteže. Razlikujemo statičku i dinamičku ravnotežu. Danas se za razvoj ravnoteže najčešće koristi proprioceptivni trening pomoću ravnotežnih (balans) ploča koje imaju i svoju ulogu u testovima za procjenu ravnoteže. Trening ravnoteže ima veliku ulogu u prevenciji ozljede jer utječe na posturalnu kontrolu i stabilnost. Razne igre pomažu u razvoju ravnoteže kod mladih sportaša. Plivanje, skijanje i gimnastika su sportovi u kojima dominira ravnoteža, ali nijedan sport ne zahvaća jednu sposobnost, nego kombinaciju više njih.
Abstract (english)
Sports is a significant and widespread human activity that enables development of motor skills and promotion of physical and mental health. Balance is a result of the ability to control postural motion and adaptation to environmental requirements. Vestibular apparatus, internal and external receptors and small brain are the key to maintain body balance. We differentiate between static and dynamic balance. Today, development of balance is most commonly used for proprioceptive training using balance boards that also play a role in balance tests. A balance training has a major role in injury prevention because it affects postural control and stability. Various games help develop balance in young sportsmen. Swimming, skiing and gymnastics are sports in which the balance plays a key role, but no sport includes only one ability, but a combination of them.
