Apart from it, the shoulder joint consists of 3 more joints which would mean that the functional unit of the shoulder joint consists of the glenohumeral joint, the acromioclavicular joint, the scapulothoracic joint, and the sternoclavicular joint. The shoulder is the most mobile joint in the human body, but it is also a very unstable joint which makes it susceptible to various injuries. One of the common shoulder injuries is shoulder joint dislocations. Shoulder dislocations are among sports injuries. The etiology and epidemiology that follow are very clearly defined. The diagnosis of shoulder joint dislocation is made on the basis of anamnestic data from clinical examination, analysis of radiographic images and magnetic resonance examination.
