Abstract
Zdjelica je čvrsti i cjeloviti koštani prsten na koju se vežu snažni mišići, a donji otvor je zatvoren dijafragmama i fascijama. Muskulatura zdjeličnog dna dijeli se na dvije dijafragme, pelvis i urogenitale. Dijafragma urogenitale se dijeli na površinsku i dubinsku skupinu mišića. U dubokoj skupini mišića su m. sphincter urethrae i m. transversus perinei profundus. Površnu skupinu mišića tvore m. transversus perinei superficialis, m. bulbospongiosus i m. ishiocavernosus. Dijafragma pelvis sastoji se od m. levatora ani, m. coccygeus te m. sphinter ani externus. Muskulatura zdjelice zajedno s fascijama čini potporu unutrašnjim organima zdjelice te pomažu u voljnom zatvaranju sfinktera tijekom pražnjena crijeva i mokraćnog mjehura. Najčešća oštećenja ili disfunkcije mišića zdjeličnog dna su prolaps zdjeličnih organa ili inkontinencija koje mogu biti, ali i ne moraju, povezane sa trudnoćom i porodom.
Abstract (english)
The pelvis is a completely bony ring to which strong muscles are attached, and the lower opening is closed by diaphragms and fascia. The pelvic floor musculature is divided into two diaphragms, the pelvis and the urogenital. The urogenital diaphragm is divided into superficial and deep muscle groups. In the deep muscle group are the sphincter urethrae muscle and the transverse perinei profundus muscle. The superficial group of muscles is formed by the m. transversus perinei superficialis, m. bulbospongiosus and m. ishiocavernosus. The diaphragm of the pelvis consists of the levator ani, the coccygeus, and the sphinter ani externus. The pelvic musculature along with the fascia forms support for the internal organs of the pelvis which help in the voluntary closure of the sphincter during the emptied bowel and bladder. The most common damage or dysfunction of the pelvic floor muscles are prolapse of the pelvic organs or incontinence, which may or may not be related to pregnancy and childbirth.
