The ankle is the most commonly injured joint, but the knee, shoulder, lower back, and toes are also vulnerable. A special shoulder is prone to injuries when a player hits the ball and jumps when serving the ball. A significant fact is that female players are more susceptible to knee ligament injuries than men, probably due to the more pronounced valgus of the lower limbs. If an injury occurs, some rehabilitation should be carried out, which must be carried out until full training to return to the game to reduce the risk of re-injury. Symptoms usually subside with conservative treatment, which may include modification of activities such as reduced jumping training or jumping on a sandy surface, and instructions to improve technique. Injury prevention and recovery depend on proper assessment, training, treatment and rehabilitation of the injured joint and surrounding joints that make up the kinematic chain.
