Abstract
Lumbalni bolni sindrom je poremećaj kojeg karakterizira bol, ukočenost i hipertonija u području od donjih rebara do glutealne regije. Kao jedan od najčešćih uzroka izostanaka s posla, zbog čega je važan društveni i ekonomski čimbenik u današnjem društvu je lumbalni bolni sindrom. Manualna terapija postala je jedan od najproučavanijih tretmana za ovaj entitet. Manualna terapija se opisuje kao vješti pokreti rukama usmjereni na povećanje pokretljivosti kompleksa zglobova, poboljšanje fleksibilnosti mekog tkiva, promjenu funkcije mišića, smanjenje boli, izazivanje opuštanja, smanjenje otekline, upale i ograničenja zgloba. Manualne tehnike koje se najčešće koriste kod lumbalnog bolnog sindroma su Mulligan, manipulacija i mobilizacija, Kaltenborn/Evjenth, Maitland, Cyriax i McKenzie metoda. Ovaj završni rad će pokazati učinkovitost određenih tehnika manualne terapije koje se koriste za liječenje lumbalnog bolnog sindroma.
Abstract (english)
Lumbar pain syndrome is a disorder characterized by pain, stiffness and hypertonia in the area from the lower ribs to the gluteal region. Lumbar pain syndrome is one of the most common causes of absenteeism from work, which is why it is an important social and economic factor in today's society. Manual therapy has become one of the most studied treatments for this entity. Manual therapy is described as skillful hand movements aimed at increasing joint complex mobility, improving soft tissue flexibility, changing muscle function, reducing pain, inducing relaxation, reducing swelling, inflammation and joint restrictions. Manual techniques that are most often used in lumbar pain syndrome are Mulligan, manipulation and mobilization, Kaltenborn/Evjenth, Maitland, Cyriax and McKenzie method. This thesis will demonstrate the effectiveness of certain manual therapy techniques used to treat lumbar spine syndrome.
