Abstract
Ovaj rad prikazuje različite dimenzije borbe protiv diskriminacije na radnom mjestu, s posebnim naglaskom na intervencije koje promiču inkluzivno i raznoliko radno okruženje. Ispitujući širok spektar tema kao što su rodna, dobna, vjerska, etnička i seksualna diskriminacija, kao i stereotipi i predrasude, ovaj rad baca svjetlo na složenost izazova s kojima se suočavaju organizacije u osiguravanju jednakih prilika za sve zaposlenike. Analiza spolne i rodne diskriminacije otkriva duboko ukorijenjene predrasude koje utječu na prilike za napredovanje žena te nužnost aktivnih napora za promicanje ravnoteže između spolova. Istraživanje dobne diskriminacije ukazuje na potrebu za prilagodbom radnog okruženja kako bi se omogućilo starijim radnicima da ostanu produktivni i angažirani. Promatranje vjerske i etničke diskriminacije pokazuje važnost razumijevanja i poštivanja različitih vjerskih i kulturnih uvjerenja. Borba protiv stereotipa i predrasuda ključna je za stvaranje otvorenog okruženja gdje svatko može ostvariti svoj puni potencijal. Učinci mikroagresija i makroagresija podsjećaju nas na potrebu za senzibilizacijom o subtilnim oblicima diskriminacije koji često prolaze neprimijećeni. Nadalje, istraživanje LGBTQ+ prava, sukoba između vjerskih uvjerenja i radnih zahtjeva te pitanja vezana uz seksualnu i rodnu identitetsku diskriminaciju naglašava potrebu za stvaranjem inkluzivnog okruženja koje poštuje različite identitete. Teškoće starijih radnika u zapošljavanju i napredovanju ističu važnost prilagodbe organizacijskih praksi kako bi se iskoristilo bogato iskustvo starije radne snage. Ukazivanje na interakciju između različitih vjerskih zajednica na radnom mjestu podsjeća nas na potencijal za međusobno učenje i suradnju. Politike, obuke i inicijative protiv diskriminacije ključne su za promicanje inkluzivnog okruženja te osiguravanje jednakih prilika za sve zaposlenike.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents the different dimensions of the fight against discrimination in the workplace, with a special emphasis on interventions that promote an inclusive and diverse work environment. Examining the wide range of topics such as gender, age, religious, as well as stereotypes and prejudices, this paper sheds light on the complexity of the challenges faced by organizations in ensuring equal opportunities for all employees. Analysis of sexual and gender discrimination reveals deep-rooted prejudices that affect women's opportuinities for advancement and the necessity of active efforts to promote gender balance. Research on age discrimination points to the need to adapt the work environment to enable older workes to remain productive and engaged. Observing religious and ethnic discrimination shows the importance of understanding and respecting different religious and cultural beliefs. Fighting stereotypes and prejudices is key to creating an open enviroment where everyone can reach their full potential. The effects of microaggressions remind uso f the need to raise awarness about subtle forms of discrimination that often go unnoticed. Furthermore, research into LGBTQ+ rights conflicts between religious beliefs and work demands, and issues related to sexual and gender identity discrimination underscores the need to create an inclusive environment that respect different identities. Older worker's difficulties in employment and promotion highlight the importance of adapting organizational practices to take advantage of the rich experience of the older workforce. Pointing to the interaction between different faith communities in the workplace reminds us of the potential for mutual learning and collaboration, Anti-discrimination policies, training and initiatives are key to promoting an inclusive environment and ensuring equal opportunities for all employees.
