Abstract
Posttraumatski stresni poremećaj (u daljnjem tekstu PTSP) predstavlja ozbiljan mentalni poremećaj koji se javlja kao posljedica izloženosti traumatskim događajima. Ovaj rad istražuje PTSP iz različitih aspekata, uključujući njegovu definiciju, simptome, uzroke, dijagnozu i načine liječenja. Analizira se kako traumatska iskustva mogu uzrokovati PTSP, istražuje se njegova epidemiologija, etiologija, simptomatologija i čimbenici rizika. Također, opisuju se simptomi PTSP-a, uključujući ponavljajuće traumatske misli, izbjegavanje traumatskih podsjetnika i sl. Dijagnostički kriteriji za PTSP prema DSM-5 su opisani i prikazani fotografijom. Naposljetku, rad istražuje različite metode liječenja PTSP-a, uključujući terapiju psihoterapijom, farmakoterapiju i druge terapijske pristupe. Razumijevanje PTSP-a ima veliku važnost za pružanje podrške i liječenje pojedinaca koji se suočavaju s ovim poremećajem.
Abstract (english)
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) represents a serious mental disorder that arises as a result of exposure to traumatic events. This paper explores PTSD from various perspectives, including its definition, symptoms, causes, diagnosis, and treatment modalities. It analyzes how traumatic experiences can lead to PTSD, investigates its epidemiology, etiology, symptomatology, and risk factors. Additionally, it describes the symptoms of PTSD, including recurring traumatic thoughts, avoidance of traumatic triggers, and more. Diagnostic criteria for PTSD according to DSM-5 are outlined and illustrated. Finally, the paper examines various methods of treating PTSD, including psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, and other therapeutic approaches. Understanding PTSD is of great importance for providing support and treatment to individuals facing this disorder.
