Abstract
Primjena robotike u neurorehabilitaciji predstavlja važan napredak u tretmanu pacijenata s neurološkim poremećajima. Robotika omogućuje precizno kontrolirane pokrete i ponavljajuće terapije koje se mogu prilagoditi pojedinačnim potrebama pacijenta. Najpoznatije skupine robota su: terapijski roboti (egzoskeletni i endoskeletni), robotske ortoze, robotski pomoćnici i robotske proteze. Robotska terapija može poboljšati motoričke funkcije i smanjiti oštećenja kod pacijenata s neurološkim poremećajima, poput moždanog udara, multiple skleroze ili ozljeda leđne moždine. Bitno je napomenuti da je fizioterapeut ključan za cijeli proces rehabilitacije te njegova uloga ostaje nezamjenjiva. Uz sve izazove, primjena robotike u neurorehabilitaciji pruža nadu za poboljšanje tretmana pacijenata s neurološkim poremećajima i omogućava im da povrate svoju funkcionalnost i neovisnost.
Abstract (english)
The application of robotics in neurorehabilitation represents a significant advancement in the treatment of patients with neurological disorders. Robotics enables precisely controlled movements and repetitive therapies that can be tailored to individual patient needs. The most well-known groups of robots include therapeutic robots (exoskeletal and endoskeletal), robotic orthoses, robotic assistants, and robotic prostheses. Robotic therapy can improve motor functions and reduce impairments in patients with neurological disorders such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, or spinal cord injuries. It is important to note that the physiotherapist is crucial for the entire rehabilitation process, and their role remains indispensable. Despite all challenges, the application of robotics in neurorehabilitation provides hope for improving the treatment of patients with neurological disorders and enables them to regain their functionality and independence.
