Aging represents the normal physiological processes in the body as a consequence of the passage of time or maturation. During aging, numerous physiological changes occur in the cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, and digestive systems, as well as sensory impairments. However, the most significant changes happen in the musculoskeletal system, primarily in the reduction of muscle mass and bone density, and the increase of body fat. Work capacity decreases by 25 – 30 % during aging, which relates to the reduced ability to perform tasks involving large muscle groups over extended periods. It is believed that at least half of these changes are caused by insufficient physical activity. Exercise serves as both a diagnostic and therapeutic tool, providing insights into clinical diagnosis and prognosis, as well as the molecular mechanisms by which aging affects the physiology and function of the heart. Regular physical activity leads to structural changes, improves posture, promotes harmonious muscle development, and helps control subcutaneous fat. To properly develop and maintain functional abilities, a varied and nutritious diet and increased physical activity are crucial, along with stress control. The aim of this study was to investigate how preventive programs affect healthy aging in the female population.
