Abstract
Virtualna stvarnost (VR) omogućuje korisnicima interaktivno sudjelovanje u digitalno stvorenom okruženju koje simulira stvarni svijet. Koristeći specijaliziranu opremu poput VR naočala, slušalica i senzora pokreta, korisnici doživljavaju stvarnu prisutnost u virtualnom prostoru, gdje mogu istraživati, manipulirati objektima te biti u interakciji s digitalnim sadržajem. Ova tehnologija koristi kompleksne algoritme za renderiranje realističnih 3D slika i zvuka, pružajući imerzivno iskustvo koje se može koristiti u različitim područjima. Uvođenje VR-a u tretman posturalnih poremećaja omogućuje terapeutima simulaciju različitih okolišnih uvjeta i aktivnosti radi poboljšanja posturalne kontrole i funkcionalnosti tijela. Koristeći VR, terapeuti mogu prilagoditi terapijske programe pojedinačno i pratiti napredak pacijenata u sigurnom i kontroliranom prostoru za vježbanje. VR tehnologija pomaže pacijentima poboljšati propriocepciju, koordinaciju i ravnotežu te smanjiti rizik od ozljeda. VR se pokazala učinkovitom u rehabilitaciji različitih patoloških stanja s posturalnim poteškoćama, uključujući posturalne poremećaje poput skolioze, kifoze i lordoze, ozljede ili operacije kralježnice, prevenciju i tretman sportskih ozljeda, bolne sindrome kralježnice te tretmane posturalne kontrole u pedijatriji i gerijatriji. Kroz VR terapiju, pacijenti se suočavaju sa situacijama ili okruženjima koja izazivaju njihove loše posturalne obrasce ili držanje tijela, omogućujući im da prilagode svoje reakcije i ponašanje. VR tehnologija može biti korisna u ovom procesu pružajući pacijentima imerzivne terapijske vježbe koje ciljaju obnovu mišićne snage, mobilnosti i posturalne stabilnosti. Kroz interaktivne simulacije pokreta i uporabu haptičkih feedback uređaja, pacijenti mogu postići bolje rezultate rehabilitacije i brži oporavak. Važno je primjenjivati VR etički i sigurno, prilagođavajući svaki postupak individualno pacijentu, uz kontinuirano praćenje napretka i prilagodbu terapijskih programa radi postizanja optimalnih rezultata.
Abstract (english)
Virtual reality (VR) allows users to interactively participate in a digitally created environment that simulates the real world. Using specialized equipment such as VR glasses, headsets and motion sensors, users experience real presence in a virtual space, where they can explore, manipulate objects and interact with digital content. This technology uses complex algorithms to render realistic 3D images and sound, providing an immersive experience that can be used in a variety of areas. The introduction of VR in the treatment of postural disorders allows therapists to simulate different environmental conditions and activities in order to improve postural control and body functionality. Using VR, therapists can customize therapy programs individually and monitor patients' progress in a safe and controlled exercise space. VR technology helps patients improve proprioception, coordination and balance and reduce the risk of injury. VR has been shown to be effective in the rehabilitation of various pathological conditions with postural difficulties, including postural disorders such as scoliosis, kyphosis and lordosis, spinal injuries or surgeries, prevention and treatment of sports injuries, spinal pain syndromes, and postural control treatments in pediatrics and geriatrics. Through VR therapy, patients are confronted with situations or environments that challenge their poor postural patterns or body posture, allowing them to adjust their reactions and behavior. VR technology can be useful in this process by providing patients with immersive therapeutic exercises that target the restoration of muscle strength, mobility and postural stability. Through interactive movement simulations and the use of haptic feedback devices, patients can achieve better rehabilitation results and faster recovery. It is important to apply VR ethically and safely, adapting each procedure individually to the patient, with continuous monitoring of progress and adjustment of therapeutic programs to achieve optimal results.
