Abstract
Ukoliko se strani državljani nađu u Republici Hrvatskoj, važno je da su upoznati sa kategorijama boravka dostupnih nedržavljanima u Republici Hrvatskoj. Razlikuju se kriteriji kratkotrajnog, privremenog ili stalnog boravka, gdje se naglašavaju kvalifikacijski uvjeti, obavezna dokumentacija i postupak podnošenja zahtjeva za svaku od njih. Rad istražuje proces dobivanja dozvole za boravak i rad, s fokusom na potrebne korake koje strane osobe moraju poduzeti. Ističe i posebne kriterije koje sezonski radnici, koji imaju značajan utjecaj na hrvatski turizam i poljoprivredu, moraju ispunjavati. Dio rada usmjeren je na pojašnjavanje plave karte EU-a, specijalizirane boravišne iskaznice namijenjene privlačenju visokokvalificiranih zaposlenika izvan EU-a u Republiku Hrvatsku i druge države članice Europske unije. Osim toga, rad sadrži i opis Potvrde o prijavi rada, dokument od iznimne važnosti za strance na privremenom radu. Nudi sveobuhvatan prikaz kriterija za dobivanje dozvole i njegovih pravnih posljedica što je ključna referenca za razumijevanje pravne strukture koja regulira boravak i zapošljavanje stranaca u Republici Hrvatskoj.
Abstract (english)
If foreign citizens find themselves in Republic of Croatia, it is important that they are familiar with the categories of residence available to non-citizens in Republic of Croatia. Different criteria apply to short-term, temporary, and permanent residence permits, emphasizing qualification conditions, mandatory documentation, and the application procedure for each. The paper explores the process of obtaining a residence and work permit, with a focus on the necessary steps that foreigners must take. He also points out the special criteria that seasonal workers, who have a significant impact on Croatian tourism and agriculture, must meet. Part of the work is focused on clarifying the EU blue card, a specialized residence card intended to attract highly skilled employees from outside the EU to Republic of Croatia and other EU member states. Furthermore, the paper includes a description of the Certificate of Employment Registration, a document of exceptional importance for foreigners on temporary work. It provides a comprehensive overview of the criteria for obtaining a permit and its legal consequences, which is a key reference for understanding the legal structure that regulates noncitizens' residence and employment in Republic of Croatia.
