Abstract
Vestibularna rehabilitacija obuhvaća niz vježbi i tehnika usmjerenih na poboljšanje ravnoteže i smanjenje vrtoglavice. Metode uključuju adaptacijske vježbe za prilagodbu središnjeg živčanog sustava, supstitucijske vježbe za aktiviranje alternativnih osjetilnih sustava, te habituacijske vježbe koje smanjuju simptome uzrokovane specifičnim pokretima. Opće vestibularne vježbe, kao što su hodanje i aerobne aktivnosti, također igraju važnu ulogu. Kod pacijenata s multiplom sklerozom, rehabilitacija pokazuje značajne koristi u smanjenju umora i poboljšanju ravnoteže. U budućnosti, virtualna stvarnost nudi obećavajuću inovaciju u rehabilitaciji, pružajući dinamične vježbe koje mogu poboljšati rezultate liječenja. Integracija ovih metoda može značajno unaprijediti kvalitetu života i funkcionalne kapacitete pacijenata.
Abstract (english)
Vestibular rehabilitation encompasses a range of exercises and techniques aimed at improving balance and reducing dizziness. Methods include adaptation exercises to help the central nervous system adjust, substitution exercises to activate alternative sensory systems, and habituation exercises to reduce symptoms caused by specific movements. General vestibular exercises, such as walking and aerobic activities, also play a crucial role. For patients with multiple sclerosis, rehabilitation demonstrates significant benefits in reducing fatigue and improving balance. Looking ahead, virtual reality offers a promising innovation in rehabilitation by providing dynamic exercises that may enhance treatment outcomes. Integrating these methods can greatly improve the quality of life and functional capacities of patients.
