Abstract
Kinesiotaping se razvio krajem prošlog stoljeća iz tradicionalne atletske trake kojoj je namjena bila smanjenje edema i boli, stabilizacija zgloba i potpora mišića. Fizioterapeuti koriste kinesiotape kako bi poboljšali funkciju mišića i zglobova, poboljšali cirkulaciju tjelesnih tekućina te smanjili bol pacijentima. U početku se koristio isključivo u sportskoj fizioterapiji i rehabilitaciji, no danas ga zbog njegove učinkovitosti sve češće fizioterapeuti koriste u kliničkoj praksi. Kinesiotaping je jeftina, efikasna te relativno jednostavna tehnika širokog spektra stanja, bolesti i ozljeda te bi iz tih razloga svaki fizioterapeut trebao proći osnovnu edukaciju primjene. Cilj ovog rada je upoznati se s učincima i primjenom kinesiotapinga u fizioterapiji.
Abstract (english)
Kinesiotaping developed from traditional athletic tape whose purpose was edema and pain reduction, stabilization of joints and muscle support. Physiotherapists use kinesiotaping to support muscle and joint function, increase the flow of bodily fluids and decrease pain. In the beginning it was mostly used in sport physiotherapy and rehabilitation, but today because of its effectiveness physiotherapists often use it in clinical practice. Kinesiotaping is cheap, efficient and relatively simple technique with a wide range of application on conditions, diseases and injuries and because of that every physiotherapist should attend a basic course of this application. The aim of this study is to get acquainted with effects and application of kinesiotaping in physiotherapy.
