Abstract
Osteoartritis koljena je kronična, progresivna i degenerativna bolest zglobova. Jedna je od najčešćih uzroka onesposobljenosti u svijetu. Čimbenici rizika i uzroci nastanka su mnogobrojni. Glavne karakteristike su bol i zakočenost zglobova. Progresijom bolesti dolazi do sve većeg gubitka funkcija. Liječenje može biti farmakološko, nefarmakološko i operativno. Najčešće se primjenjuje kombinacija nefarmakološkog i farmakološkog liječenja. Fizioterapija je neinvazivna metoda liječenja i pokazala... More je mnogobrojne prednosti i pozitivne učinke kod bolesnika s osteoartritisom koljenog zgloba. Cilj ovog istraživanja je utvrditi utjecaj fizioterapije na bol, zakočenost i aktivnosti svakodnevnog života. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 30 ispitanika. Nakon primjene dvotjedne fizioterapije došlo je do značajnog poboljšanja u vidu smanjenja boli i zakočenosti zgloba. Abstract (english)
Knee osteoarthritis is a chronic, progressive and degenerative joint disease. It is one of the leading reasons of immobility in the world. Risk factors and causes are many. Main characteristics are pain and stiffness of the joints. Progression of the disease can cause more functional limitations. Treatment options can be pharmacological, non-pharmacological, and surgical. The most commonly used combination is non-pharmacological and pharmacological treatment. Physiotherapy is a non-invasive ... More treatment and it show many advantages and positive effects in patients with knee osteoarthritis. The purpose of this research is to establish the effectiveness of the physiotherapy on the pain, stiffness and function ability in everyday life. Thirty subjects were part of this research. After two week therapy there was significant improvement in decrease of the pain and stiffness of the joints. Difficulty in performing every day activities has also decreased which means that the quality of life has increased. Less
