Abstract
Kardiološke bolesti i dalje ostaju glavnim uzrokom pobolijevanja i smrtnosti u Republici Hrvatskoj te su značajan javnozdravstveni problem i diljem svijeta čiji je razvoj povezan s navikama u svakodnevnom životu kao što su pušenje, nezdrava prehrana, tjelesna neaktivnost te psihosocijalni stres. Najčešći uzrok smrti među kardiovaskularnim oboljenjima su ishemijske bolesti srca što uključuje koronarnu bolest srca, akutni infarkt srca i druge oblike navedene bolesti. U prevenciji važno mjesto ima edukacija, psihološka pomoć, savjetovanje bolesnika i obitelji te adekvatna fizioterapija koja je od iznimne važnosti. Uloga fizioterapeuta je i sama edukacija u smislu savjetovanja o očuvanju zdravlja, razvijanju i održavanju maksimalne funkcionalne sposobnosti i pokretljivosti. Vrlo važno je održavanje ili povećanje tjelesne aktivnosti čime se sprječava povećanje tjelesne težine, nastanak hiperkolesterolemije, hipertenzije i dijabetesa koji također spadaju u rizične čimbenike kardiovaskularnih bolesti.
Abstract (english)
Cardiac diseases remain the main cause of illness and mortality in the Republic of Croatia and are a major public health problem worldwide whose development is associated with habits in everyday life such as smoking, unhealthy eating, physical inactivity and psychosocial stress. The most common cause of death among cardiovascular diseases is ischemic heart disease including acute heart infarction, coronary heart disease and other forms of the aforementioned disease. In prevention, an important place has psychological assistance, patient and family counseling, education and adequate physiotherapy that is of major importance. The role of physiotherapist is education in terms of health preservation, development and maintenance of maximum functional ability and mobility. It is very important to maintain or increase body activity, which prevents weight gain, hypercholesterolemia, hypertension and diabetes, which are also important cardiovascular risk factors.
