Abstract
U ovom završnom radu opisuju se poslovi carinskih službenika kao državnih službenika, s osvrtom na dugu povijesnu tradiciju carinske službe. Nadalje, prikazana je hijerarhijska struktura Carinske uprave, organizacijski oblici odnosno način na koji ona kao upravna organizacija funkcionira. Detaljno je opisan postupak prijema u carinsku službu, ocjenjivanje carinskih službenika kao i polaganje državnog stručnog ispita. Isto tako, pobliže su objašnjeni poslovi carinskih službenika, te njihova prava i ovlasti kroz zakonsku regulativu. U radu je prikazano funkcioniranje europske Carinske unije, njezina uloga u zaštiti potrošača i građana, te koristi koje donosi za gospodarski napredak Republike Hrvatske. Rad je temeljen na različitim Zakonima, Uredbama, pravilnicima, te stručnoj literaturi.
Abstract (english)
The final work describes the duties of customs officers as civil servants with regard to the long historical tradition of the Customs. Furthermore, it shows the hierarchial structure of the Customs Administration, its organizational forms i.e. the way it functions as an administrative organization. It describes in details the procedure of getting employed in Customs, the evaluation of customs officers as well as the procedure of state qualifying exam. Moreover, it explains the duties of customs officers, as well as their rights and authority through legislation. The work also presents the functioning of the European Customs Union, its role in the protection of buyers and citizens and the benefits it brings for economic progress of the Republic of Croatia. The final work is based on different laws, rule books, statutes and other sourcers.
