Abstract
Živčani sustav dijeli se na periferni, središnji i autonomni živčani sustav. Periferni živčani sustav tvore snopovi živčanih vlakana koja povezuju središnji živčani sustav sa svim dijelovima tijela, te oblikuju kranijalne i spinalne živce. Periferni živčani sustav prenosi impulse iz središnjeg živčanog sustava i u središnji živčani sustav. Lezije perifernog živčanog sustava zahtijevaju fizioterapijsku intervenciju čiji postupci poboljšavaju regeneraciju i reinervaciju lezijom zahvaćene muskulature. Fizioterapijska intervencija ima pozitivan učinak na liječenje oštećenja perifernih lezija.
Abstract (english)
The nervous system is divided into the peripheral, central and autonomic nervous systems. The peripheral nervous system is formed by bundles of nerve fibers that connect the central nervous system to all parts of the body, and also form the cranial and spinal nerves. The peripheral nervous system transmits impulses from the central nervous system and into the central nervous system. Lesions of the peripheral nervous system require a physiotherapy intervention whose procedures improve the regeneration and re-innervation of the lesion affected musculature. Physiotherapy intervention has a positive effect on the treatment of peripheral lesions.
