Abstract
Zdravstveni sustav je kao temelj za osiguranje kakvoće življenja pa je svako ulaganje i njegovo unapređenje u korist svih građana. Svrha primjene informacijsko komunikacijske tehnologije u bolnicama jest da ih pretvori u informatički pismene i „ moderne“ ustanove u svrhu najboljeg zbrinjavanja pacijenata, smanjenja troška sredstava i vremena te osiguranju svih potrebnih informacija kako za stručne i znanstvene, tako za upravne i administrativne potrebe. Vođeni tom idejom Ministarstvo zdravlja 19. srpnja 2002. godine započinje projekt uspostavljanja integriranog bolničkog informacijskog sustava (IBIS) Republike Hrvatske. Cilj završnog rada je prikazati kako se zahvaljujući novim tehnologijama bolnice, a s njima i Opća županijska bolnica Vukovar i bolnica hrvatskih veterana, oslobađaju goleme količine papira i postaju „ digitalne bolnice“ tj. svi podaci pohranjuju se elektronički i dostupni su u svakom trenutku, kreirani u trenutku davanja usluge, uz ažurno praćenje poslovanja bolnica.
Abstract (english)
The health care system is the foundation of the quality of life so every investment and improving of itself is in favour of the users. The purpose of applying information communication technology in hospitals is to turn the hospitals into modern institution where the best health care will be provided for the patients, the costs and the time of the required information for the scientific and, as well as administrative needs will be reduced. Guided by the idea, in May 19th, 2002, the Ministry of Health has started the project of establishing the hospital information system (IBIS) in all hospitals in Croatia. The aim of this final work is to show that using the new technologies, as well as in Vukovar General County Hospital and in Croatian Veteran Hospital, the hospitals are released from the pile of paperwork and are becoming „digital hospitals“. All data are electronically saved and are available at any time, made at the time of providing a service and timely monitoring of hospital business.
