Abstract
Skolioza je trodimenzionalno iskrivljenje kralježnice, koje osim što dovodi do rotacije trupa, disbalansa mišića i boli, također može prouzročiti respiratorne i kardiovaskularne probleme. Skolioze se razlikuju po dobi u kojoj se javljaju, etiologiji nastanka, a dva glavna tipa po kojima se iste razlikuju su strukturalne i nestrukturalne. Idiopatska skolioza, ona kojoj se ne zna uzrok, najzastupljenija je među svim skoliozama. Kod liječenja skolioza bitna je edukacija fizioterapeuta i komunikacija sa pacijentom. Također, nužno je početi na vrijeme s rehabilitacijom, poznavati specifičnosti skolioze koja se liječi kao i predvidjeti njenu progresiju i sekundarne komplikacije. Više se preferira konzervativni pristup jer nije invazivan. Pod konzervativnim pristupom smatra se provođenje raznih specifičnih vježbi za skoliozi, među poznatijima je Schroth metoda, korištenje ortoza i ostali komplementarni pristupi. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati učinkovitost i različite konzervativne pristupe kod liječenja skolioze.
Abstract (english)
Scoliosis is a three-dimensional curve of the spine, which, in addition to rotation of the torso, muscle imbalance and pain, can also cause respiratory and cardiovascular problems. Scoliosis differ in their age, in their etiology of origin, and the two main types in which they differ are structural and non-structural. Idiopathic scoliosis, of which the cause is unknown, is the most prevalent of all scoliosis. Physiotherapists education and communication with the patient are essential in the treatment of scoliosis. It is also necessary to begin on time with rehabilitation, to know the specifics of the scoliosis which is being treated, as well as to predict its progression and secondary complications. The conservative approach is preferable because it is not so invasive. The conservative approach is considered to be the implementation of various specific exercises for scoliosis, among the more well-known is the Schroth method, the use of orthoses and other complementar approaches. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the efficacy and different conservative approaches in the treatment of scoliosis.
