Abstract
Porezni sustav u Republici Hrvatskoj uređen je na način da je reguliran Zakonima i posebnim propisima koji moraju biti usklađeni sa smjernicama Europske unije. U ovom radu opisan je porez na dohodak i način na koji je on propisan Zakonom o porezu na dohodak. Razjašnjeni su i opisani pojmovi tko su rezidenti i nerezidenti, tko je radnik te što je minimalna plaća i kolika je. U tabličnim prikazima prikazuju se postoci oporezivih davanja i na što. Na kraju su opisane stope poreza i prireza, prikazano je koliko su to zapravo veliki brojevi, odnosno postotci, koji dovode do zaključka da su promjene neophodne.
Abstract (english)
The tax system in the Republic of Croatia is regulated by laws, acts and special regulations that have to be harmonized with the guidelines of the European Union. This paper describes the income tax and the procedure of regulating it by the Income Tax Act. The paper also explains the concepts of residents, non-residents, workers, minimum wage and its amount. The tables provide percentages and purposes of taxable benefits. Finally, tax and surtax rates are elaborated on and their high percentages have led to the conclusion that changes are indispensable.
