Abstract
S obzirom na izgled, građu i smještaj, živčani sustav (systema nervosum) se dijeli na središnji i periferni. Duljina kralježnične moždine (medulle spinalis) kod odraslih osoba iznosi 40-45 cm. Mozak (encephalon) anatomski se dijeli na veliki mozak, moždano deblo i mali mozak. Alzheimerova bolest je progresivna neurodegenerativna bolest od koje uglavnom obolijevaju ljudi starije životne dobi, iako se ponekad javlja i kod mlađih osoba. Nastanak Alzheimerove bolesti još uvijek nije u potpunosti jasan. Bolest je potrebno dijagnosticirati kroz cijeli medicinski postupak kao što je liječnički pregled kod liječnika specijaliziranog u dijagnostici i liječenju Alzheimerove bolesti i srodnih demencija, ili pregled specijalista poput neurologa, psihologa i psihijatra. Učinkovit lijek ili terapija za Alzheimerovu bolest ne postoji, ali se primjenom lijekova može usporiti razvoj bolesti. Cilj fizioterapijske intervencije bolesnika s Alzheimerovom bolesti je kroz fizikalne postupke osigurati pacijentu što veću razinu telesne sposobnosti, veću snagu, pokretljivost te povećati želju za socijalizacijom.
Abstract (english)
In terms of appearance, structure and location, the nervous system (systema nervosum) is divided into central and peripheral. The length of the royal medulla (medulle spinalis) in adults is 40-45 cm. The brain (encephalon) is anatomically divided into the large brain, brainstem and cerebellum. Alzheimer's disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that is mainly caused by older people, although sometimes occurs in younger people. The emergence of Alzheimer's disease is still not entirely clear. Disease needs to be diagnosed through a whole medical procedure such as a medical examination by a physician specializing in diagnosing and treating Alzheimer's and related dementia, or examining specialists such as neurologists, psychologists and psychiatrists. Effective cure or therapy for Alzheimer's disease does not exist, but medication can slow the progress of the disease. The goal of physiotherapy intervention for patients with Alzheimer's disease is through physical procedures to provide the patient with the highest level of physical fitness, greater strength, mobility and increase the desire for socialization.
