Abstract
Lakat je zglob između nadlaktice i podlaktice. Lakatni zglob je složeni zglob kojeg tvore tri kosti: humerus, radijus i ulna. Lakatni zglob je drugi zglob po učestalosti iščašenja. U području lakta česti su prijelomi kostiju, rupture tetiva te raznih bolesti. U području lakta, prisutni su jedni od najčešćih sindroma prenaprezanja, lateralni epikondilitis odnosno teniski lakat te medijalni epikondilitis. Često se kod lakta pojavljuju kontrakture koje mogu nastati nakon traume lakta ili pak nakon preduge ili prekratke imobilizacije. Najčešće su fleksijske kontrakture. Vrlo rijetko se javljaju prijelomi u području lakta. Dijagnoza se postavlja fizikalnim pregledom i rendgenološkom obradom. Simptomi kod bolesnika su oteklina, bol, nemogućnost izvođenja pokreta u lakatnom zglobu. Fizikalna terapija uvelike pomaže kod bolesti lakta, njegovih kontraktura ili prijeloma. Jako je važno svakodnevno izvoditi vježbe koje su propisane svakom bolesniku individualno.
Abstract (english)
An elbow is a joint between the upper arm and the forearm. The elbow joint is a complex joint formed by three bones: humerus, radius and ulna. The elbow joint is the second joint in frequency of dislocation. Bone fractures, tendon ruptures and various ailments are common in elbow area. In the elbow area, there are present one of the most common overstrain syndromes, lateral epicondylitis or tennis elbow and medial epicondylitis. Elbow contractions are often occur after elbow trauma or after too short or too long immobilization. The most common are flexion contractures. Fractures in the elbow area are very rare. The diagnosis is made by physical examination and radiological examination. Symptoms that patient can have are swelling, pain and inability to perform any movement. Physical therapy greatly helps with elbow diseases, its contractures or fractures. It is very important to perform daily exercises that are prescribed to each patient individually.
