The need to regulate the exchange of goods and services in society arose very early, so states sought to include economic rules in economic and social relations, trying to bring order, facilitate their understanding and provide legal entities with greater certainty regarding the rights and obligations arising from them. relations. Exchanges of goods and services are the basis of legal affairs, especially contracts. Legal transactions can be unilateral - those that arise from the manifestation of the will of only one subject, or bilateral or multilateral - those that arise from the manifestation of the will of two or more subjects.
