Abstract
Obuća predstavlja glavnu zaštitu stopala. Utjecaj obuće na funkciju stopala najĉešće se istraţuje u podruĉju cipela s visokom potpeticom (CVP) te u podruĉju sportske obuće. Nošenje cipela s visokom potpeticom moţe dovesti do raznih stanja u podruĉju stopala, a to su: ţuljevi, kalusi, metatarsalgija, napetost Ahilove tetive, plantarni fascitis, smanjenje opsega pokreta u stopalu i sliĉno. Od sportske obuće najĉešće se istraţuju tenisice za trĉanje. Tenisice za trĉanje trebaju prevenirati najĉešće ozljede koje se dogaĊaju prilikom izvoĊenja aktivnosti. Zbog pretjeranoga pokretanja u subtalarnom zglobu dolazi do pretjerane pronacije stopala koja posljediĉno dovodi do predispozicije za nastanak ozljeda na lateralnom podruĉju donjih ekstremiteta. Tenisice za trĉanje i tenisice za košarku, uz ulogu poboljšanja performansi, imaju i zaštitnu ulogu. Jedna od najĉešćih ozljeda u košarci je distorzija gleţnja, stoga košarkaši najĉešće biraju visoko rezane tenisice koje će sprijeĉiti pretjeranu pronaciju stopala.
Abstract (english)
Feet are protected by adequate footwear. High heels and sport footwear are mostly researched regarding their impact on foot function. Wearing high heels can cause different foot malfunctions such as blisters, calluses, metatarsalgia, Achilles tendon tension, plantar fasciitis, reduced range of motion and similar discomfort. Research of sport footwear is mainly focused on running shoes. Running shoes have to prevent the most frequent injuries that occur during activities. Excessive movement in subtalar joint leads to excessive pronation of the foot, which in turn leads to a predisposition to injury in the lateral aspect of the lower extremities. Likewise running shoes, the basketball shoes have the protection role and role in improving performance. One of the most frequent injury in the basketball is ankle sprain, therefore basketball players most often choose high-top shoes which will prevent excessive foot pronation.
