Abstract
Tjelesna aktivnost važan je dio života jer može poboljšati zdravlje i smanjiti čimbenike rizika od prerane smrti. Odnosi se na sva pokretanja koja energetsku potrošnju povećavaju iznad one u mirovanju. Tjelesna aktivnost pomaže u smanjenju razine LDL-kolesterola te povećava razinu HDL-kolesterola u krvi. Lipidi su masnoće u krvi te obavljaju važne funkcije u tijelu. Ako u organizmu imamo višak lipida, mogu nam narušiti zdravlje. Taj suvišak lipida u krvi naziva se hiperlipidemija koju mogu uzrokovati genetski ili stečeni faktori. Hiperlipidemija odnosi se na neravnotežu razine kolesterola koja može povećati rizik za nastanak kardiovaskularnih bolesti. Može dovesti do komplikacija kao što su ateroskleroza i koronarna arterijska bolest. Jedan od početnih koraka liječenja je promjena prehrane. Pretilost jedan od glavnih problema te se tjelesna aktivnost trebala provoditi radi smanjenja tjelesne mase. Tjelesna aktivnost trebala bi biti svakodnevna. Svrha pisanja ovog završnog rada je objasniti što je to hiperlipidemija i kako tjelesnom aktivnošću možemo djelovati na nju. Pojasniti kako bi se tjelesna aktivnost trebala provoditi i koliko može značiti u prevenciji hiperlipidemije i kardiovaskularnih bolesti. Isto tako važno je objasniti kako može utjecaj prehrane i smanjenje tjelesne težine na prevenciju i tretman hiperlipidemije. Te na temelju pretraženih istraživanja dokazati da tjelesna aktivnost i promjena prehrane djeluju pozitivno u prevenciji i liječenju.
Abstract (english)
Physical activity is an important part of life because it can improve health and reduce risk factors for premature death. It refers to all movements that increase energy consumption above that at rest. Physical activity helps reduce LDL-cholesterol levels and increases HDL-cholesterol levels in the blood. Lipids are fats in the blood and perform important functions in the body. If we have an excess of lipids in the body, they can impair our health. This excess of lipids in the blood is called hyperlipidemia which can be caused by genetic or acquired factors. Hyperlipidemia refers to increased cholesterol levels that can heighten the risk of developing cardiovascular disease. It can lead to complications such as atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease. One of the initial steps of treatment is a change in diet. Obesity is one of the main problems and physical activity should be carried out in order to reduce body mass. Physical activity should be daily. The purpose of writing this final paper is to explain what hyperlipidemia is and how physical activity can affect it. Explain how physical activity should be carried out and how much it can mean in the prevention of hyperlipidemia and cardiovascular disease. It is also important to explain how diet and weight loss can affect the prevention and treatment of hyperlipidemia. And on the basis of research, to prove that physical activity and dietary changes have a positive effect in prevention and treatment.
