Abstract
Sama ideja o ujedinjenoj Europi se počela ostvarivati nakon Drugoga svjetskog rata, i to kada se osnovala prva Europska zajednica za ugljen i čelik. Europska unija je zajednica za koju se može reći kako je rezultat suradnje i integracije. Temeljni ciljevi Europske unije su prije svega gospodarska i politička integracija na području europskog kontinenta. Unija je prepoznata po nekim od glavnih načela, primjerice sloboda, demokracija, zatim vladavina prava, jednaka prava za sve ljude, te je bitno istaknuti kako se sve države članice trebaju pridržavati navedenih načela. U radu se pristupilo definiranju Agencija Europske unije. Agencije su tijelo Unije koje je regulirano europskim javnim pravom. Njihov početak datira još iz 70-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, u cilju uspostavljanja unutarnjeg tržišta Europske unije. Agencije Europske unije moraju se razlikovati od ostalih institucija, poput Vijeća, Parlamenta i slično, te je bitno istaknuti kako imaju vlastitu pravnu osobnost. Osniva ih Parlament i Vijeće i to na prijedlog Komisije, te one nisu predviđene Ugovorima.
Abstract (english)
The very concept of a united Europe began to emerge after World War II when the first European Coal and Steel Community was founded. The European Union is a community that could be said to be the result of cooperation and integration. The basic goals of the European union are, firstly, economic and political integration on the territory of the European continent. The union is recognized by some of the general principles, such as freedom, democracy, the rule of law, equal rights for all people and it is important to highlight that all Member States should comply with these principles. In this paper approaches the definition of European Union agencies. Agencies are a body of the Union conducted by the European public law. It`s origin dates back to the 70`s of the last century, in order to establish the internal market of the European Union. European union agencies must be differentiated from other institutions, such as the Council, Parliament, and the like, and it`s important to point out that they have their own own legal personality. They are established by the Parliament and the Council on a proposal from the Commission and are not anticipated in the Treaties.
