Abstract
Ozljede gležnja su mnogobrojne čak jedne od najčešćih ozljeda općenito jer se sva težina tijela prenosi na gležanj te stopalo, što čini povećani rizik od ozljede. Osim ruptura ligamenata i uganuća, česti su i prijelomi koštanog dijela zgloba i oštećenja hrskavice. Najčešća ozljeda gležnja je ozljeda lateralnih ligamenata, a kada su prijelomi u pitanju, to su maleolarni prijelomi te prijelomi kalkaneusa. Važno je istaknuti da nepravilno tretirana ozljeda može dovesti do nestabilnog zgloba i trajnog oštećenja. Upravo zbog takvih oštećenja, ključna je prevencija, no ako dođe do ozljede, fizioterapijska intervencija može omogućiti brz i kvalitetan oporavak. U ovom radu bit će objašnjena mehanika zgloba gležnja, najčešće ozljede te fizioterapijska rehabilitacija kod istih. Cilj ovog rada jest istražiti koje su najčešće ozljede gležnja te odrediti koju fizioterapijsku intervenciju primjenjivati.
Abstract (english)
Ankle injuries are numerous even one of the most common injuries in general because all body weight is transferred to the ankle and foot, which leads to increased risk. In addition to ruptured ligaments and sprains, fractures of the bony part of the joint and cartilage damage are also common. The most common ankle injury is a lateral ligament injury, and when it comes to fractures, these are fractures of malleoli and calcaneus. It is important to note that improperly treated injury can lead to unstable joints and permanent damage. Precisely because of such damage, prevention is crucial, but if an injury occurs, physiotherapy intervention can enable quick and quality recovery. This review will explain the mechanics of the ankle, the most common injuries, and the physiotherapy rehabilitation in them. The aim of this review is to investigate the most common ankle injuries and determine which physiotherapy intervention to apply.
