Abstract
Cilj ovog završnog rada je prikazati gospodarstvo Španjolske te prikazati njezine najznačajnije gospodarske grane. Kako bi se to moglo prikazati moraju se proći i druge činjenice koje utječu na samo gospodarstvo. Zbog toga će biti govora općenito o Španjolskoj, njezinom geografskom položaju koji je važan zbog svoga neujednačenog reljefa i klime koja nije jednaka u svim dijelovima zemlje. Također bitno je naglasiti kako španjolska ima izlaz na Sredozemno more i Atlantski ocean, ali i njezinoj povijesti koja seže još iz doba paleolitika. Isto tako narodi koji su vladali i naseljavali zemlju tijekom povijesti ostavili su utisak na kulturnom i povijesnom polju. Osim toga i o samom stanovništvu, koje je raznoliko i kakav ima utjecaj na gospodarstvo zbog kulturnih događanja koje su uvelike poznate svijetu te uloga politike u svemu tome. Zbog svega navedenog najvažniji sektori gospodarstva Španjolske su turizam, industrija te poljoprivreda, a većinski utjecaj na to imao je geografski položaj zemlje. Turizam je ujedno i najrazvijenija gospodarska grana, a broji razne vrste turizma poput kulturno-povijesnog, gastronomskog ili kupališnog turizma. Turizam još prate industrija koja je poznata kao vodeći zagovornik industrije obnovljivih izvora te poljoprivreda, a poznato je kako je Španjolska jedan od najvećih izvoznika agruma.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this final paper is to present Spain’s economy and showcase its key economic sectors. To achieve this, other factors affecting the economy must be addressed. Therefore, the paper will discuss Spain in general, as well as its geographic position, which is important given the uneven topography and climate that varies across the country. It is also vital to highlight Spain’s access to the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, as well as its history dating back to the Palaeolithic age. Furthermore, the peoples who ruled and inhabited the country throughout history left their mark on the cultural and historical landscape. The paper additionally looks into the economic impact of Spain’s diverse population, globally recognized cultural events and politics. As a result of all of the aforementioned factors, tourism, industry, and agriculture are the most important sectors of Spain’s economy, owing mostly to the country's geographic position. Tourism is the most developed economic sector, comprising a wide range of tourism categories including gastronomic, beach, and cultural heritage tourism. Tourism is complemented by the industry, which is widely regarded as the leading advocate of renewable energy sources, and agriculture. Spain is well-known for being one of the largest exporters of citrus fruits.
