Abstract
Vrtoglavica je jak subjektivni osjećaj okretanja bolesnika u prostoru odnosno okretanje predmeta u prostoru oko bolesnikova tijela. Praćena je često pojavom nistagmusa te ponekad mučninom, povraćanjem, bljedoćom kože i sluznica te pojačanim znojenjem što su znaci poremećaja u neurovegetativnom živčanom sustavu. Vestibularna rehabilitacija je individualno planiran sustav vježbi koje ubrzavaju proces centralne kompenzacije oštećenog vestibularnog sustava. Proces vestibularne rehabilitacije se sastoji od nekoliko sastavnica. Liječnička dijagnoza, fizioterapijska procjena i terapijske vježbe su ključne za organizaciju procesa.
Abstract (english)
Vertigo involves a perceived movement either of one's own body, such as swaying or rotation or of the environment or both. The most important clinical manifestations of vertigo are lightheadedness, nystagmus and sometimes nausea, vomiting pallor and sweating which are sings of neurovegetative nervous disorder. Vestibular Rehabilitation is an individually planned system of exercise that accelerates the process of central compensation of the damaged vestibular system. The vestibular rehabilitation process consists of several components. Physical diagnosis, physiotherapy and therapeutic exercises are key to organizing the process.
