The philosophy of law is s term that is still hard to speak about even today. It is s process of trying to see what problems exist with right and wrong, that is, what confirms man´s morality, and what dampens it. In his book Elements of the Philosophy of Right, Hegel has given us his thoughts about the state and about the link between state, politics and law. Hegel´s work influenced numerous issues that appeared in his time, and he is still one of the most influential philosophers, whose works are still being discussed today. With his work, he expressed his opinion on the philosophy of law as a classical and practical philosophy that everyone can understand. Although such a philosophy is presently viewed as something behind only s logical sequence and nothing else, the philosophy of law has proven to be one of the sciences that gives every person insight into their morality and their rights. Today it is difficult to determine in what degree Hegel was correct in his doctrine and how well he explained his position at that time in order for people to understand all the basic lines of the philosophy of law. What Hegel calls for above all else is certainly morality and humor, and the freedom that is outlined in almost every chapter of his book. He regards morality and freedom as basic human rights, but in a way also a duty that one should not evade. The fact is that his work has managed to outline all that philosophy of law in fact is, as well as some other thoughts and ideas that are being considered today as basic principles of legal norms. Liberty is certainly displayed in a different way in his work, which is even today, taken very seriously in the sense that liberty is a certain right, but it most be safeguarded by preserving other human rights.
