Abstract
Sindromi prenaprezanja podrazumijevaju različite vrste stanja koja uzrokuju osjećaj neugode ili bol u mišićima, zglobu, tetivama, živcima i povezanim strukturama u ljudskom tijelu. Uzrok nastanka sindroma prenaprezanja su ponavljani pokreti koji uzrokuju mikrotraume na mekim tkivima koje nadvladavaju sposobnost regeneracije tkiva te dolazi do pojave simptoma. Pojavnost ovih sindroma najčešća je kod sportaša, iako u novije vrijeme sve više se pojavljuje i kod profesionalnih aktivnosti (uredski poslovi, industrijski poslovi, proizvodni poslovi i drugo). U početku je klinička slika obično praćena osjećajem zatezanja, a tijekom vremena se javlja bol koja progresivno jača. Bol nekada može biti toliko jaka da osobu znatno ograničava u izvođenju svakodnevnih aktivnosti. Dijagnoza se donosi na temelju anamneze i kliničkog pregleda, a kao pomoćne metode koriste se i radiološke metode. Liječenje može biti konzervativno i kirurško. U pravilu, liječenje bi trebalo biti konzervativno s naglaskom na fizikalnu terapiju i prevenciju daljnjeg pogoršanja, no ako ono ne uspije pacijent može biti podvrgnut kirurškom liječenju.
Abstract (english)
Overuse injuries include different conditions which cause discomfort feeling and pain in muscles, joints, tendons, nerves and other related structures in the human body. Overuse injuries occur after repetitive motions causing micro-tears in soft tissue that overpower tissues regeneration capacity and cause symptoms. The incidence of overuse injuries is most common in athletes, though more recently it more often occurs in professional activities like office, industrial, production jobs and similar. Initially, first symptome is usually feeling of tightness, and over time pain that progressively worsens. Sometimes, pain can be so intense that person can't perform everyday activities. Patient history and clinical examination are the basis of diagnosis of overuse injuries, but radiological methods can also be helpful. Treatment for overuse injuries can be conservative and surgical. Usually, treatment should be conservative and focused on physical therapy and prevention, however, if it fails, the patient may undergo surgical treatment.
