Abstract
BPPV predstavlja jak i kratkotrajan napadaj vrtoglavice, koji je često praćen vegetativnim simptomima. Dosta često onemogućava osobu u aktivnostima svakodnevnog života, a gotovo svaka osoba tokom života doživi minimalno jedan napadaj BPPV-a. Dijagnoza se najčešće postavlja Dix-Hallpikeovom probom, a kao terapija izbora u liječenju BPPV-a navode se repozicijski postupci koji su točno određeni za svaki od polukružnih kanalića, tj. imaju točno određene indikacije i kontraindikacije, a pokazuju gotovo stopostotnu učinkovitost, tj. smanjenje ili nestanak simptoma, jednostavni su i isplativi za izvedbu i prilagođeni svim dobnim skupinama i stanjima pacijenata: Epleyev repozicijski manevar, Semontov repozicijski manevar, „Barbecue-roll“ postupak, Casanijev postupak i dr.
Abstract (english)
BPPV is a severe and short-lived onset of dizziness, often accompanied by vegetative symptoms. Quite often, it impedes a person in the activities of daily living, and almost every person during their life experiences at least one bout of BPPV. The diagnosis is most often made by the Dix-Hallpike trial, and the therapy of choice in the treatment of BPPV is the repositioning procedures that are specified for each of the semicircular canals, ie they have specific indications and contraindications, and show almost 100% efficacy, ie reduction or disappearance of symptoms, they are simple and cost-effective to perform and are tailored to all age groups and conditions of patients: Epley's repositioning maneuver, Semont's repositioning maneuver, Barbecue-roll procedure, Casani procedure, etc.
