Abstract
U ovom završnom radu obrađuje se tema CITES konvencija ili Konvencija o međunarodnoj trgovini ugroženim vrstama divljih životinja i biljaka. Cites inače predstavlja međunarodni pravni okvir kojim se regulira prekogranični promet i trgovina zaštićenih biljnih i životinjskih vrsta. Tom konvencijom se pokušava održati ravnoteža u prirodi zbog prevelikog izlova te kasnije preprodaje po astronomskim cijenama . Stoga je za učinkovitu provedbu Konvencije potrebna dobra suradnja nadležnog tijela za CITES, carine, policije, veterinarske te fitosanitarne inspekcije.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this work is the CITES convention or The convention of the international trade of endangered species of animalks and plants. Cites represents the international legal framework that regulates trans-frontier traffic and trade of protected plants and animals. This convention tries to maintain the natural balance because of enormous hunting and selling by astronomic price. For the efficiant functioning of this Convention , good cooperation between the competent body of CITES, the custom, the police, the vet and phytosanitary inspection is needed.
