Abstract
Motivacija je temeljni pokretač svega onoga što osoba nastoji napraviti da zadovolji svoje potrebe. Postoje razne teorije motivacije koje pokušavaju objasniti samu motivaciju te motivaciju zaposlenika. Menadžeri imaju vrlo zahtjevan zadatak kada trebaju utjecati na motiviranost svojih zaposlenika budući da je svaki zaposlenik jedinka za sebe. Menadžer bi trebao poznavati potrebe zaposlenika odnosno različite čimbenike poslovanja koje utječu na njegovu motiviranost te primjenjivati različite materijalne i nematerijalne motivacijske čimbenike. Zaposlenika može motivirati plaća, razne naknade i nagrađivanja, priznanja i pohvale pa čak i lijepa riječ od strane nadređenih. Ovima radom se kroz istraživanje htjelo utvrditi koliko su zapravo današnji zaposlenici motivirani, koji čimbenici utječu na njihovu motiviranost te koliko su zapravo oni zadovoljni njihovim trenutnim radnim mjestom.
Abstract (english)
Motivation is the essential starpoint of every activity a person does to satisfy their own needs. There are various motivational theories that try to explain the motivation itself and the motivation of the employee. Managers have a very demanding task when they need to boost the motivation of their employees since each employee is a unique individual. The manager should know the needs of the employee or the different factors of the business that affect his or her motivation and apply various material and non-material motivational factors. The employee can be motivated by salary, various benefits and rewards, accolades and praise and even a kind word from superiors. By conducting a research, this work was intended to determine how motivated today’s employees really are, what factors influence their motivation and how satisfied they really are with their current workplace.
