Abstract
Akutni infarkt miokarda svrstava se u ishemijske bolesti srca. Vodeći je uzrok smrtnosti u Hrvatskoj i svijetu od koje obolijeva starija, no sve češće i mlađa populacija. U radu je prikazan način dijagnosticiranja i liječenja bolesnika oboljelih od akutnog infarkta miokarda. Također, prikazane su faze rehabilitacije i važnost uvođenja dijetalne prehrane i edukacije bolesnika i obitelji oboljelog. Kardiološka rehabilitacija skup je mjera i postupaka kojoj je cilj vratiti bolesnikove privremeno izgubljene ili oslabljene sposobnosti i povratak aktivnostima kojima se bavio prije samog obolijevanja (posao, rekreacijske aktivnosti).
Abstract (english)
Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is classified in the ischemic heart disease. It is the leading cause of death in Croatia and worldwide. AMI affects older, but more and more the younger population too. This paper describes the method of diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from acute myocardial infarction. Also, it shows the phases of rehabilitation and the importance of introducing the diet nutrition and education of patients and their families. Cardiac rehabilitation is a set of procedures with goal to restore the patient's temporarily lost or impaired abilities and return to activities patient had before getting ill (work, recreational activities).
